“Probably the best fish and chips I’ve eaten for a very long time. Large battered piece and so tasty. Pub decor is great. Stuffed animals. Old books. Just so eclectric. Great find. Staff were lovely too.”

“Well once again a lovely evening with the family. Food was excellent, I had mussels but wish I had the Ribeye whish my husband had. He gave me a taster and it was the best Ribeye I’ve ever tasted. Thanks Kevin, Stuart and the staff for cooking our lovely meal.”

“A rare find, a country pub with well kept beers and a tasty and innovative menu. A good selection of beers, lagers and ciders with the Masterbrew being my particular favourite. Fish is often on the menu and the beef service on the Sunday Roasts is freshly cut from the joint and delicious.”
