Letting Rooms

We have one Ground Floor letting room located in our outer cottage. The cottage entrance has one and a half steps with wide access suitable for a wheelchair.

We always encourage telephone enquiries in order to discuss your requirements pre-arrival. Please contact us on the number below where one of our team will be happy to assist you in ensuring your stay will be both an enjoyable and memorable one.

Car Park

Car Park

The Car Park is located on the left hand side of The Horseshoe and Castle which is on one level and is graveled. There is no disabled parking however there is an area nearest to our outer cottage and back entrance to our letting rooms where a car can be left for ease of access. Should you require any assistance with luggage our friendly staff are on hand during opening hours.

Front Terrace Entrance
Our main entrance for customers is via the front terrace. We have three half steps with hand rails either side leading to our main entrance with a wheelchair accessible ramp next to these steps. There is also half a step into the bar area from this entrance with an outwards opening door.

Side Entrance
Leading from our car parking area is our side entrance used also by our customers to access our main bar area. There is one half step and one step which brings you to a corridor with one more step bringing you to our main bar seating area. Our bar seating area is accessed with an inwards opening door and is dog friendly with our full menu available upon request.

Rear Restaurant Entrance
Located at the back of the restaurant is french doors with a wide paved step leading to our rear beer garden, a perfect seating area for an al fresco style lunch. Our rear french doors are open for our residents who are staying in the outer cottage between 08:30 and 09:30 for breakfast served in the restaurant area between these times. 

Rear Guest Entrance
Accessible via the car park is the well lit entrance with a step leading to a hallway and stairs for our three first floor rooms for residents. We do not have a night porter on the premise so residents are given a back door key with their room key for access during closing hours. Guests are also given an out of hours contact card with three emergency numbers in the unlikely event that they experience a problem during their stay with us. We encourage residents to contact one of these emergency contacts and we'll do our utmost to resolve the dilemma. 

All public areas, halls, stairs and landings are well lit with overhead lighting and natural light.
